At Entheo Community we love our in-person events. Below you'll find some of our upcoming events. We highly recommend becoming a member of our Meetup group (it's free), to stay up-to-date on our local events.
Hosted by Sam Lay in partnership with PsyAtlanta and Entheo Community.
Rockmart, Georgia - Monthly on the Second Saturday
You're invited to join us on the second Saturday of each month for an afternoon of exploration, fun and fellowship in rural western GA. Feel free to drop in for whatever parts you like, and leave whenever you feel complete.
The location will be my little patch out in Rockmart. My old farm-house has a big back yard and behind that are 70 acres of undeveloped woodland. It's very peaceful and there's lots of room to play and hang-out.
Contact me directly for the address and to RSVP:
2:00-4:00 PM - Tripp'n through the trees
We'll take a walk through the game trails in the woods behind my backyard. Each week brings new growth. The spring is great. We can tailor the walk to last anywhere from half an hour to two hours depending on the participants' preferences and abilities. If you plan to join the walk, please arrive between 1:15 and 1:45 PM. If you plan to enhance your walk with sacrament, please limit yourself to a museum dose and let your host know. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own sacrament and may not share with others unless both parties are members and Sacrament Ministers of Entheo Community. Your host may also choose to provide sacrament to attendees who are Entheo Community Sacrament Ministers. Supplies are limited.
4:00-6:00 PM - Potluck, yard games and hanging out.
Bring what you want to eat and drink and a little to share. Feel free to bring a favorite "lawn game" to share if you like. We would like to keep the pot-luck time "family friendly." Please do not be too altered, and exercise discretion with language and behavior.
6:00-7:?? PM - Fire Circle
Sharing circle around the fire. Join us in sharing our our joys, griefs and friendships.
After that, spontaneous Ecstatic Dance, Drum Circle or 'Lectric Jam may break out. Nothing is planned, but we're open to extemporaneous suggestions. Bring a drum or instrument if you have one, and we'll see what happens!

What is Kava?
Kava is a traditional South Pacific drink made from the root of the Piper methysticum plant. The root is mixed with water to create a muddy-looking beverage known for its calming and relaxing effects. It has been used for centuries in ceremonial and social settings and is commonly consumed today to reduce stress and promote a sense of ease.
