All members of our church are allowed to attend all church events, including facilitated ceremonies with sacrament. Becoming a minister will allow you certain additional privileges, and also come with responsibilities.
Our three ordinations are:
Minister of Sacrament
Minister of Fellowship
Minister of Ceremony
Let's dive a little deeper into each one:
Becoming a Minister of Sacrament means you will be allowed to possess our sacraments in quantities greater than a single dose or for self-guided practice, such as our microdosing course. Carrying our sacraments may mean possession of legally controlled substances. For this reason, our Minister of Sacrament ordination ensures that you have been trained in safe usage, safe storage & transport, correct terminology, contraindicated drugs and health conditions, protecting your rights with law enforcement, and more.
In order to receive sacrament from Entheo Community outside of a facilitated context, you must first pass the Minister of Sacrament Ordination Assessment. This way, we have written records indicating that we are not creating a safety risk in the exchange of our sacraments. Additionally, your membership in the church is necessary for us to show that we are not diverting our sacraments to non-religious use. These are both very important considerations in the protection of our right to continue practicing in this way.
A Minister of Fellowship is someone who believes in the Entheo Community mission and wishes to grow their own local fellowship with the protection Entheo Community offers.
This ordination gives you the training and authority to host official Entheo Community events, including the use of our logo and materials. You will learn how to create successful events, as well as our best practices as far as terminology, advertising, and more.
Ministers of Fellowship may take advantage of our church platform to automatically build a mailing list from their past attendees and maintain their own fellowship calendar.
If you are also a Minister of Ceremony you will be allowed to host official Entheo Community group ceremonies.
As a Minister of Ceremony you will be able to safely facilitate ceremonies with sacrament.
The ordination process begins with selecting a mentor from among Entheo Community's Ministers of Ceremony.
The theoretical or academic portion of the training involves completing a few mandatory readings and taking a written assessment on this. The practical portion of the training is the bulk of the program. You will shadow and co-facilitate six journeys each with increasing levels of responsibility, so that you can learn through direct experience.
The journeys you facilitate during your training are offered without financial compensation to you. This allows people who might not normally be able to afford a journey to do so. The journeyer will make a smaller donation that will support our ministry and operations.
Once you complete your ordination, you will officially receive your Journey Facilitator ordination and be listed in our directory where you will be visible to our members.
